Nestled in the beautiful Riebeek Valley, LoveGarden is a small, family-run garden that celebrates the joy of growing and enjoying herbs the old-fashioned way.

Started just two years ago, LoveGarden is all about slow-grown, small-batch herbs, and vegetables. Every plant is tended with care and harvested by hand, the way gardeners have done for generations. We love bringing back rare and almost-forgotten varieties just because they taste wonderful and make the garden more interesting!

One of our favorite things to share is our loose-leaf herbal teas. We blend classic garden herbs like chamomile, peppermint, lemon verbena, calendula, and many others straight from the garden into the teapot. These are the same comforting cups our grandmothers used to make – perfect for a quiet moment or for sharing with friends.

You’ll also find homemade preserves, simple dried herb bundles, and a few traditional tinctures and ointments made exactly the way country folk have done for years – using recipes passed down in families and old herbals.

Important note Everything we share here and everything we sell is for enjoyment and traditional home use only. We are passionate gardeners, not doctors or certified herbalists. None of our products or posts are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always check with your healthcare provider before using any herb for health purposes, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.

At LoveGarden, it’s really about the love of growing things and the simple pleasure of a fragrant cup of tea picked from your own backyard (or ours!). The owner is always happy to chat plants, swap gardening tips, or help you choose something lovely for your pantry.

If you ever find yourself in the Riebeek Valley, come say hello – the kettle is usually on! ☕🌿

Note: This is for inspiration only. Always chat with a doctor before using plants for health.
